Philippines: PAGASA Warns 38 Areas Under Danger Heat Index on May 24
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has warned that 38 areas across the Philippines are expected to experience a dangerous heat index of 42-43°C on May 24. This comes as the country continues to brace for extreme temperatures, with some regions previously forecast to reach up to 47-50°C over the weekend.
