Emerald Ash Borer, a Dangerous Asian Pest, Spreads in Slovakia
The emerald ash borer, an invasive species from Asia, has been detected in eastern Slovakia after spreading from Hungary. The pest poses a threat to 2.2 percent of the country's forest stands.
