
NASA Declares MAVEN Mars Mission Over After Six Months of Silence
NASA has officially declared the end of its MAVEN mission, a Mars orbiter that had been studying the planet's atmosphere since 2014, after losing contact with the spacecraft six months ago. The decision comes after extensive efforts to re-establish communication with the probe proved unsuccessful.
