Eastern Finland Drought Halves Hydropower Production to 15-Year Low

Severe drought conditions in Eastern Finland have led to the lowest hydropower production in 15 years for March, with significantly reduced water flow from Lake Saimaa to the Vuoksi River and some Kymijoki power plant turbines taken offline.
