Media organisations condemn use of ‘excessive force’ during UNI eviction

While the court order was pronounced at 1.30 p.m. on Friday, even before it was uploaded on the court’s website, police and paramilitary personnel arrived at the UNI’s premises and evicted journalists in the midst of them carrying out their duties, the Press Club of India said.
