Braga to Open New Family Health Unit, Doubling Capacity
A new €1.8 million Family Health Unit (USF) is under construction in Braga, Portugal, set to double patient capacity and increase the number of doctors from four to eight. Expected to be completed by August 2026 and partially funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan, the project aims to reduce the number of residents without a primary care physician.
