Polar Jet Stream Causes Extreme Temperature Swings in Portugal

Portugal is experiencing a "rollercoaster" of temperatures, with inland areas reaching nearly 40°C before a sharp drop over the weekend, attributed to the polar jet stream. The Algarve's water temperatures have also significantly cooled.

Desta terça até sexta o interior vai chegar quase aos 40.ºC, mas no fim de semana as temperaturas caem a pique, antes do calor voltar. Culpa do jet stream. A água do Algarve também arrefeceu muito.
