Iran Clears Passage for Bangladesh Ships Amidst Strait of Hormuz Tensions
Iran has cleared the passage of six Bangladesh ships, as Türkiye continues to seek Iran's permission for 11 Turkish-owned ships through the Strait of Hormuz. Portuguese Prime Minister António Costa has also urged Iran to de-escalate tensions and respect international law in the critical waterway.
