Ceny plynu skokově skočily o více než polovinu, ceny ropy o 8 procent. To je zatím výsledek války USA a Izraele proti Íránu pohledem světových trhů. Teherán v odplatě za americké nálety totiž zaútočil proti těžebním zařízením arabských států Perského zálivu. Prakticky na nulu také klesla námořní doprava v Hormuzském průlivu mezi Iránem a Ománem, kudy proudí na trhy třetina světové produkce ropy.
