India Reports 431 Snakebite Deaths Last Year, Government Advises Notification

The Indian government informed Parliament that 431 snakebite deaths occurred in the country last year. The Minister of State for Environment, Kirti Vardhan Singh, stated that states and Union territories have been advised to notify snakebite as a reportable disease.
