Riga to Begin Road and Bike Path Construction in August

Construction work for a new bike path along the 11th November Embankment in Riga, from Akmens Bridge to Railway Bridge, is set to begin in August, alongside other road repairs on Gertrudes Street.

Augustā Rīgā uzsāks remontdarbus Ģertrūdes ielā, kā arī veloceļa krastmalā izbūvi

Veloceļa izbūvi 11. novembra krastmalā sāks ar posmu no Akmens tilta līdz Dzelzceļa tiltam, kur pirmie būvdarbi tiks sākti augustā. Projekta laikā šajā posmā izbūvēs no autotransporta un gājēju plūsmas nodalītu veloceļu un atjaunos gājēju infrastruktūru. Savukārt Ģertrūdes ielā atjaunos posmu no Aleksandra Čaka ielas līdz Krišjāņa Barona ielai.
