Hong Kong Observatory detects tremors felt by residents

The Hong Kong Observatory detected tremors on Friday afternoon, confirming more than a hundred reports from residents. The forecaster announced at 2.34pm that tremors had been detected by its seismic network, saying it would reveal the analysed data once available. Since the Observatory recorded locally felt earth tremors in 1905, a total of 176 of varying intensities have been registered.
