Rivers in the Vysočina region of the Czech Republic are flowing at only 20% of their usual levels, marking the driest April in 36 years. Water management officials attribute the record low flows to a lack of rainfall and a warm, windy spring.

Nedostatek srážek a teplé, větrné jaro se podle vodohospodářů podepisuje na nízkých stavech vodních toků. Na některých místech jsou dubnové průtoky dokonce na historickém minimu. Voda chybí také na Vysočině, kde je situace nejhorší v historii měření.
