Two iPS cell-based regenerative medicine products officially approved for domestic manufacturing and sales by Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare

Regarding two regenerative medicine products using iPS cells for the treatment of heart disease and Parkinson's disease, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare announced on the 6th that they have officially approved their domestic manufacturing and sales. It is possible that treatment with medical insurance will be available as early as around this summer, if manufacturing systems are in place.
