Sava River Levels Rise Near Šabac, New Rainfall Expected Across Serbia

River levels on smaller rivers are generally falling, but the Sava River near Šabac is rising and is expected to exceed the regular flood defense limit. A new wave of precipitation is anticipated across Serbia starting Thursday.

Vodostaji manjih reka uglavnom opadaju, ali raste nivo Save, koji će kod Šapca premašiti granicu redovne odbrane od poplava. Novi talas padavina očekuje se od sutra, rekao je za RTS hidrolog Dejan Vladiković. Od ponedeljka nagli porast temperature i rast nivoa reka zbog topljenja snega.
