Dangerous Heat Index Grips Multiple Philippine Regions
Various regions across the Philippines, including Butuan City, Imus City, and parts of Calabarzon and Eastern Visayas, experienced or were forecast to reach dangerous heat index levels up to 48°C around May 12-13. Warnings were issued as dozens of areas were expected to hit "danger" thresholds.
