Scientists at the Ringen research center in Litoměřice, Czech Republic, have begun excavating the first shallow geothermal heat storage facility, designed to store waste heat from sources like solar panels and electrolyzers to potentially heat the city.

Vědci začali hloubit první mělké úložiště odpadního tepla. Baterie by mohly vytápět Litoměřice

V areálu výzkumného centra Ringen v Litoměřicích začali vědci hloubit první mělké úložiště. Pod povrchem se bude ukládat odpadní teplo například ze solárních panelů nebo elektrolyzéru. Ještě letos vědci nechají vyhloubit další dvě úložiště, která by v roce 2028 mohla sloužit jako baterie tepla pro část litoměřických domácností.
